Woke up with arm aching a bit but decided to press on. Perfectly clear view avross to Lleyn and Snowdonia. Looked like Aberystwith wasn’t that far away. 7 hours of paddling later and I arrive pretty wiped out so having a day off tomorrow. Saw three dolphins and  a lot of enormous Jelly fish. Rat packs for dinner and moved to a camp site for th enight as I didn’t want to be woken by any drunk students in the night!

Strumble head today. Got on the water for 7 sharp to get on the tide. Clocked a steady 7knots for about 45min going round strumble head so decided to press on to Aberporth rather than Cardigan as planned. Had to go to the pub again so Dad could use the internet.

Woke up with pouring rain and very poor vis and wind from the North. Not ideal, but I know Ramsey sound very well so was happy to continue, although perhaps a little nervous. Hastlily packed everything away and was on the water for 8. All ok through Ramsey but biggest conditions were actually going across whitesands bay. Dad said he was losing sight of me in amongst the waves. Pretty lumpy still around St Davids head and as the viz was so poor I didn’t want to be too far off shore, so ended up fighting back eddies and confused water most of the way up to Abercastle. Arrived at about 1300. pretty tired so had a whick lunch and had a snooze. Weather improved dramatically as the occlusion cleared off. Ration packs for dinner and a couple of pints in the pub (had to charge up batteries honest)

Spring tides so had to be careful hear with the wind from the North (still). Big coming around St Annes head, but arrived at Jack sound at slack so was an easy paddle through. Stopped at Martin’s haven for a few hours to wait for the wind to bach West. Paddles across St brides bay in the evening witha flat calm bay and arriving at PC at high tide – perfect. 4 hours paddles today. Elbow feeling ok. All I saw going past Skomer was a sea gull and a few ponies - I want my money back.
